We call dewatering mechanism of this equipment "Volute".
The external cylinder of "Volute" interlaminated with moving rings and fixed rings is penetrated by a screw. The screw, while rotating, mobilizes the moving rings to consistently clean the filtering zone to prevent clogging.
It is applicable to various kinds of sludge such as waste activated sludge, dissolved-air floatation sludge and so forth. The thickening mechanism of this equipment enables dewater not only highly-concentrated sludge but also low-concentrated sludge with ease.
It depends on the type of sludge, but in the case of waste activated sludge, it can dewater the sludge up to 15-30% solids content.
